ADMISSIONS

FOREIGN APPLICANTS

Programs at Universidad del Noreste have been developed to educate and train future professionals and participation in solving today’s society problems. Foreign students who wish to enter Universidad del Noreste must meet the following requirements according to nationality and ensure compliance with the requirements to practice in their home country or any other.


IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS OF THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT

It is essential for people of foreign origin who want to study in Mexico, get your legal stay in the country. This can be obtained at any Mexican Consulate or Embassy or the National Immigration Institute of Tampico and must be revalidated every year.
For the FM-3, the student must complete the Request Form visa at the Mexican Consulate and submit the following documents:


UNIVERSIDAD DEL NORESTE LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE

To get it you must send a copy of your school documents specified above (by fax, email or courier) to be considered a candidate to study at UNE.


ORIGINAL LETTER OF ECONOMIC SOLVENCY:

Mexican law requires every individual who enters the country to study, get a letter of financial support. This letter must be issued by a person or institution which certifies that the student will be provided with a monthly income of at least $ 500.00 USD while studying in Mexico. The letter must be legalized or with an apostille in the place where it was issued and its translation into spanish, if the document is written in another language.

Applicants from the US, Canada and Europe:

  • Submit a psychometric exam.
  • Have an interview with the Director of Academic Area or Race Director.
  • Fill application for admission.
  • Submit the following documents.
  • Birth certificate (original and copy)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (original and copy)
  • Evidence of qualifications proving the seventh through twelfth grade of High School or equivalent
  • A copy of the migratory form proving your legal stay in the country to study
  • Letter of no criminal record
  • Letter of financial support with a minimum of $ 500.00 USD per month signed by the person who will pay for your stay economically in Mexico
  • Pay an entrance fee of $ 500 USD


Note: Documents must be legalized by the country of origin or with an apostille and translated into Spanish.
